All,

After chatting with Tony Blackman (ex Vulcan, Victor, Nimrod Test Pilot & now author) at Wings & Wheels yesterday it transpires that he would love to see more of your Vickers Valiant pictures (during service) for possible inclusion into his latest book 'VALIANT BOYS'.

He also needs information on the following event:

VALIANT WP205 - 17th November 1960 at A&AEE
Overshot the runway on landing at Boscombe Down, Wiltshire and struck the control caravan. Not repaired & struck off charge on 11th July 1961. It has proved impossible to ascertain the circumstances prevailing which led to this accident.

But you need to be quick and get them to him asap & if you can help with his WP205 request, drop him a note.

You can contact Tony at:

tony@blackmanbooks.co.uk

(you can even mention #twitterVforce if you like)

Cheers

Rod
